So, I have been trying to track down some of my fan fiction, unfortunately the disks I have them saved on are inaccessible to me currently, at the time I was actively writing fan fiction - about a decade ago now - I didn't have a CD burner so all my fic as well as my various website backups were all saved and done a back-up on zip disks.

I still own a zip drive but it has been packed away for the better part of a decade now, as have the disks, so finding it would be no easy feat as I know disks and drive were packed away separately and in different locations. Due to house renovations done my the local council, various clean outs and decorating many things packed away have been moved multiple times in the last few years. I have a storage box, in our shed out in the garden, with computer supplies where my drive could be packed away in or the most likely other place would be in our attic which I can't physically enter due to my disabilities.

So, I opted to look online on other archives/sites I might have given permission to host my fic as well as use the internet archive to find a saved copy from my long closed personal archives.

In the case of Angel:The Series fic I found 16 stories, some WIP and some finished still on another Cordelia/Angel(us) archive site and not much except a few updates or rough drafts which would've been saved on said Zip Disks are missing from there. The slash fiction I wrote in the Diagnosis Murder fandom however I have been a lot less successful in finding. There were 4 short/flash fictions on another DM archive site but a lot of my personal fiction from this fandom are missing. I tried the web archive but was unable to find any saved copies of my fic, my last resort was my yahoo group for my DM slash archive. Unfortunately I didn't post all or too much of my own fiction there as I was already posting to my own personal archive. So what little that's there is incomplete.

I did, out of curiosity, add up the total wordcount of my Cordelia/Angel(us) fic I managed to find online and the total came to 92,040 words. Not too shabby. Gives me hope I might be able to write something more than the few paragraphs which seem to my total presently when I attempt writing anything.
